Participants will gain an overview of grade-specific writing techniques including handwriting fluency instruction, spelling skills, sentence construction, alternate standard based strategies, modes of writing and content writing. Teachers will also learn more about Ruth Culham’s Writing Wallet, 6 Traits +1 and mentor texts.
Participants need to purchase their specific grade level’s Ruth Culham’s Trait Crate ($93.75) prior to in-service.
