    • Students participate in the planning, design, and completion of project-based activities including for example Habitat for Humanity home build.
    • Students learn to use precision measuring instruments, establish building lines, determine site and elevations, and record site layout data.
    • Students estimate material needed and perform concrete/masonry work.
    • Students layout and install floor systems, wall and ceiling frames, roofs, exterior finishes, doors and windows, trim and stairs, piping, waste and vent distribution systems, and electrical components.
    • Students install Electrical Component/Systems to current industry code.
    • Students assemble piping, waste, and vent distribution systems.

    About

    • This course is a citizenship and community service program that stresses a healthy lifestyle, high school completion, and post-high school career planning.
    • Students can join several different teams that compete against other schools in Arizona and California. Teams include Academic, Physical Training, Armed and Unarmed Drill, Color Guard, Air Rifle, and Orienteering.
    • NJROTC does not require a military obligation. However, students are prepared to enter all the military services, Police Departments, Fire Department, Border Patrol and other Governmental Agencies.

    • Learn and perform current medical techniques, methodology, injury evaluation process and practical application correlated to the sports medicine profession.
    • Learn basic first aid, wound care, injury management, basics of rehabilitation, and emergency procedures/care as seen in an athletic setting.
    • Learn how to perform basic prophylactic taping techniques such as ankle tape, extremity bracing concepts, splinting/spine boarding, and application of said techniques in a sports medicine setting.

    • Students are introduced to a variety of techniques used in biotechnology and molecular biology using the equipment necessary in a research or industrial setting.
    • Students develop skills in Pipetting, Solution Preparation, Serial Dilutions, Standard Curve, Spectrophotometry, Bacterial Transformation, DNA and Protein Gel Electrophoresis, Sterile Technique, Microbiology, PCR, BLAST, DNA Sequence Alignment, Protein Purification, Western Blot, ELISA, and Enzyme Activity.

    • Builds professional skills, teamwork, and ethics through classroom and project-based learning (HOSA aligned).

    • Students will be able to study how semiconductor chips (integrated circuits) are designed and produced, including common engineering practices (requirements, verification), cleanroom procedures, quality control methods, and the precision required to manufacture the technology inside our modern day devices
    • Students will be able to examine how the semiconductor industry operates worldwide, including supply chains, manufacturing challenges, career pathways, and industry influences like AI.

    Take your education to the skies. Our Aviation Program is a rigorous, hands-on journey designed to transform students into FAA-certified experts. From the physics of flight to the intricacies of turbine engines, this program provides the technical foundation needed for a high-powered career in aerospace maintenance.

    Our curriculum is engineered to cover the FAA General requirements, preparing students to successfully challenge the FAA general assessment—a critical first step toward becoming a certified A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) technician.

    • Apply physics and mathematics to calculate Weight and Balance, ensuring every flight is within safe center-of-gravity limits.
    • Work with wood structures and master sheet metal techniques, including riveting, flat pattern layouts, and precise bend allowance calculations.
    • Dive into the heart of the machine, from the timing of magnetos in reciprocating engines to the complex principles of turbine operation.
    • Install and maintain the "veins" of the aircraft, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical distribution systems.
