Graduation Requirements
All students must meet the minimum required credits for Sahuarita Unified High School Graduation in order to graduate. Students who wish to attend Arizona in-state universities will need to complete additional credits in order to meet the unconditional admission requirement.

Arizona’s Universities also allow English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and LOTE (Language Other Than English) requirements to be filled by making specified scores on various assessment instruments.

3 Students enrolled in Marching Band, NJROTC, and Dance may count their course completion (two semesters) towards the Physical Education credit requirement.
4 High school graduates are required to pass, 60% or higher (70% or higher for graduating class of 2026), a civics test identical to the civics portion of the naturalization test used by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services- ARS 15-701.01. High school graduates are required to attend one or more training sessions in cardiopulmonary resuscitation- ARS 15-718.01.
