Walden Grove seeking new football coach following May’s departure

Sahuarita, AZ— Walden Grove High School is looking for a new varsity football coach.

Chris May, citing personal reasons, submitted his resignation on June 26, 2017. May has served as head football coach for the Red Wolves for the last two seasons replacing former Walden Grove Head Coach Chris Sargent in 2015.

“Although this was an extremely tough decision for Coach May, we understand and thank him for his contributions to the football program,” stated Barry Cromer, Walden Grove athletic director.

Full practice for the Red Wolves begins officially on July 24, 2017. Weight sessions will continue as scheduled.

Sahuarita Unified School District is looking to fill the position immediately. Interested applicants should apply online at http://bit.ly/sahuaritajobs_footballcoach and email athletic director Barry Cromer at [email protected] and principal Teresa Hill at [email protected].
